Sienna was on the cross ties, I could see that she was seeming to be a bit down. No one else was a the barn, just Patti and I. Sienna had a large bump on her neck, I had accidentally touched it and realized that there was something wrong. Patti later told me it was a blood blister, that Keri saw it this week and that she thought that the move of Kristin leaving and Kinsey is out of the mare paddock, Juliette the aggressive new mare of the very sweet lady that has 5 rescue horses may have bit her.
The woman who has these horses as adoptions, spending 650 times 5, for the adoptees is something special. I met her one night at the barn, late. She is a nurse and came over to meet up with her horses late night. I think she may be the nicest person I have met there at Greenwood.
Talkingn to Patti, I asked how Sienna was doingn, she paused, she said just ok. She wasnt riding today Sienna didnnt seem to want to. Patti told me that Sienna wasnt having the best week. 2 days ago, the were riding on the raod, and She went down on both front legs. Patti said that Sienna lifted herself back up and really tried to continue.
Sienna fell down on her knees on the road this week with Patti riding her, she got back up on her own but Patti is seriously worried about Sienna pushing herself too much.
She really likes to have Patti ride her around the property.
She may think that Sienna is finished being a riding horse, the arena ridinng may not be the only thing that she wants. She said she may ask if she can work with other horses, like the nnew rescue.
There is a rescue horse that the nice lady named xx thats a nurse has recenntly purchased. Patti wannts a horse to ride around the Greenwood property. She was sayihng that shes worried Sienna doesnt have alot of riding left. She been experiencing lots of issues.
Patti says she is interested in looking at other horses to ride, while keepingn Sienna in shape. but not really riding her.
We talked for a while before I went up to Beaus paddock. He was in Dusty's paddock. Its a nice one and he liked it. The horse in his paddock.
After I Left Patti said that she was talking to June and that June does not like the new pepel on her side and she was trying to get her horse moved over to our side. I was not happy to hear such a negative attitude SHe wanted to move her high demand horse over by August, Beau and Sienna. Not sure when she would not get along with those 2 people. They come and mind their own business and they have 2 horses. Patti was talking like June thought that the rescue horse should be moved away from her other horse family because she was not willing to give more and share the ailse. Not sure whats up with her.
She was on the phone with Patti, saying she was considering leaving to move to NH where her lesson horse is right now. She is sort of leasing a horse up there and spending time here is westford less and less.
Pattie was sharing the positives to moving out, it seems like a crazy sort of conversation.
