Both Saturday and Sunday for us, Beau's hoofs are better

This weekend was better than most because I was able to get over to the barn both days without a rush. Beau's hoofs seem better although in the arena when I walk him around, hes not too enthusiastic about the lunging. Slow and steady does it with him.

Saturday

Pretty hot on Saturday, 87, I was sweating as I was walking around doing my chores. I wanted to do as much of the supplemennts as I oculd to cover vacation time Sept 21.
It was so peaceful no one was there for a long time. I forgot the cat food again :(
I walked up to the paddock and Beau is so happy to see me, hes cooperative and sweet.
We walke down to the barn, no one is there still its really wonderful, I always let him graze on the way down. Because its hot, I bring him in th arena and shut the door. I brought the bug spray too. We did our walking backwards and he super good. We walked a slow lunge, no lunge whp just a walk together. its very nice 5 walks one way and 5 the rests. We did 70 backward steps its all good.  I was goinng to work him out after but he went directly to the door, he wanted to go back to his paddock and hace a nice day.

Sunday

Today when I went over is was so differnt raining and the horses were in.
My plan was to check Beau's hoofs, soak them, and treat them with the Hoof treatments.

Went over on Thursday for a sugar iodine bootie and Saturday for 2 soaks, took the

THURSDAY:  August 27 at the barn about 8 o’clock to 930

It was another beautiful summer night at the end of summer,

which is always kind of sad. It’s a Thursday before Labor Day weekend so it was a lot of traffic during the day but at 9:30 driving home it’s quiet.

I fed the cats cat food in the barn and the hay barn and then when I came out at about 920 they were outside waiting so I had a feeling they were starving so I opened up another cat food and put it in there and that’s the last thing I did by the time I got there of course the horses have already been fed and they were in and I knew it was gonna rain tomorrow so I wanted to try to soak one of his feet well when I walked him you know I asked him if he wanted to go out into the arena and he did but he’s he’s not walking very comfortably so it’s not the hoof. The back left that I usually soak. It’s the right and he picks it up for me to let me know that it doesn’t feel good so I brought the jug, but I didn’t. I didn’t fill it with hot water at home so I had to use the water there so it’s so slow in the bathroom when you put the sticks when you put the jug under the warm water and I put it under the water and then I went ahead and got his stuff ready and I put him in. I got him to.

Saturday Aug 30th:

Talked to Krystyn along on Saturday she recommended that I could stop with the soaking and sugardine treatemnts, he was looking better.

We talked for a while, I really like her. She had a lesson coming. I helped her brinngn in a couple easy horses. Sometimes I ask if I can bringn in some easy horses, like August, Sienna and Cisco. The horses that are doubled up have some issues at the gqae. Krystyn was.watching me give Beau's back hoof attention, she suggested that I just use the hoof care in place of sugar iodine.

When I was talking to Mukey, he had blood on his nose and I asked her about it. She said its from his leg, he has a wound andn the flies do damage to the wrap.

I noticed before I left Beau's eye was swollen adn when I put him back into his stall he used the wall to itch his eye, I thought it would injure him more.
