Cooled off, Patti was the only one at the barn. Its good when its like that. We talked for a while. She is my favorite person at the barn because she is down to earth, no drama. We talked about the horses being thin because we don't ride enough, she said that the girl who has been feeding and taking care of the horses hosed them all down when she brought them in. It makes them so much more comfortable and also I think its good for them. I looked in on Duke hes was starting to complain that I hadn't given him enough attention. I had to go to the store quick and get bananas, milk and apples, then go to the barn. I swam a wonderful swim of 15laps. It was so excellent. Then off to see Duke.
He was pretty cute, eating grapes out of my hand gently. I brushed him out in the stall then got his all his tack and put him in the cross ties. He was coorperating pretty well. I got his saddle on and he was getting the mints together. I learned something as I was putting my self on the saddle.

Before the Cape gotta see Duke
As I was getting to the barn on a Friday, I was stopped with Mike Stace and Hannah, as they were leaving. She said they had the goats up and as I was getting there the goats, Krystyn and her boyfriend were walking the goats back to the house. It was actually nice, I got the check to Bonnie and it sounded like they had had a nice night. Kristen was being taken home by Jess. She had a certain tone that was like she had had a little too much wine. It was timed right for me to be coming after they left.
I bushed him out, treated his tail and tacked Duke up. xxxx I think I rode in the arena but I need to remember more.
I had a ton of snacks, carrots and other stuff. I'm not really sure what we did I didn't take any pictures. Ill post some later when I get them off the camera. I'm using the big camera now. I have been seeing this most amazing set of deer in the field. I have some great pictures of them.
