Interesting day the barn. Ididnt really want to work, after staying up late and cooking a huge meal Chicken Chow Mein, wings, fried rice with all authentic on New Years Eve. Watching Val and George and then up late with Stranger Things finale. It was snowing and really cold, I sort of hated the idea that I had to get up, layer up put on my work clothes, boots double socks and drive in the slippery conditions to Greenwood. I drove in pretty icy conditions.
Actually it was a good day, could be worse, just Bonnie Krystyn and me. I started where I always start but instead of Millie, Dakota is on the end now. I did the hard ones. Ah Leah has pooped in her bucket again, I dumpe dit. Bonnie and Krystyn pitched in on the first side, I was happy about that I sort of hate doing it all myself. I know that she needs to do the easiest ones because of her arms. Whens she got to Beau she started yelling at him. I told her to stop and I owuld do his stall if she has problmes with him. I know hes very kind now and she must be going through something. She also yells at Sienna loud every week. I was thinking Id like it better if she didnt do anh stalls so I could have a fun time with the horses. I love talking to them and geting to know eahc one as I clean the stalls. Anyway back to the day.
High Points:
- I fell down while doing the hose, when I walked out on the ice to straighten it out.
- Krystyn worked out with CAllie and she did really good walking her and lunging her.
- I feel like I didnt do all the wrok today except doing waters is terrible tiring and it makes me totally beat.
- Beau worked out with me building his hind end, I put him in the arena after Krystyn left and he was so excitied to do his back steps. He did 120+ steps. I was so proud, although he did jump alot because the wind was so terrible. I hated it.
- Doing the waters makes my hands so tired. Its hard to turn my hand the right way to switch the horse nozzle on and off. I alway need to rest my hands whenI get home. They are cold sometimes they cramp up and I cant move hemat the joint. I amlooking forward to when I dont have to do this in the friget cold.
Bonnie was a a terrible mood, yelling at the horses etc. She was having a bad day with the tenants, they are always trying to get out of paying rent. Its really unfair. But she was truly beat.
