Red Admiral Butterfly, on a sunny beautiful Sunday

Patti hit her head so this weekend we went over together,

Saturday was Chases birthday so I went over to the barn around 4pm

It was a good visit but sort of short about an hour

His feet

Patty’s head was hurting

She hit her head at home and spent the evening at ER (same as the Billerica Officer Ian Taylor, that died)

We were there long enough 

The horses were in and I brought Beau  out to the mares paddock 

He did a lot of his exercises but then got really anxious and had to go back to his stall

We practiced not charging and he was anxious but did great stopping when I asked 

After Vals party short visit

 got to the farm, Patti and Lynn were talking

It was Sienna's birtday today so Patti called her a wild child

no one there, no June no Kristie really nice

Kristin was cleaning the paddock then left.

Beau was in his paddoc, I went up there, I gave everyone 

he stepped all the way around the deep water mud to come to the gate

over ate grass but listned, as we went into the arena i was feeling like he was happy to be doign stuff with me.

went and saw that he did did his moves with me, and was paying attention, stopping whenn asked

I think I oculd have walked him if I had the energy.

He was great, did not do his feet, did not brush him at all

loved him alot, petting him alot

did his supplments

he was truly sweet with me.

Enjoyed our time, should have walked him

Little Goat passed away, Beau was excellent with his ground work

• Did not get over to the barn untli after 3pm 
• WAs meetinng up iwth Raychel later so I knew Ihad to get home quick.
• Looked for a peach tree

  e they are not in, my new glasses are inn and I love them, bought a new rotary sander

Beau was great today, special made me start to feel like we were connecting in the best way.

Took him in the arena, hes been in all day because of the rain in the morning

I grabbed his lead and halter, there was no chain on him thats becasue Patti brought him in.
I hate the chain, I gave all the horses snacks from th bags (all around, everyone)

Took him out of the stall, had the lead, let him run and roll

 He was so eager to do his exercises

he started walking backwards

As I was talkinng to patti, Beau got my attention to get with him, work on his excercies.

it was great, very loving.

Brought him out, walked past his stall, asked him to not BOLT into his stall and to be a good listener.
worked on his words, asking him to hoe and back up as we walked.

HE was delighted that we went in the grass and just grazed with 3 baby deer in the field

it was special

Then no other horses were in the paddocks so I thought Id ask him to go into the paddock ad do some of the stuff I love so much

first was continued to walk backwards, the condition of the paddock is still terrible, deep mud, huge puddle and just hard to walk but we were able to walk out to the middle and work out.

Then after doing lots of manuevers

I was going to try to do the workouts that Duke and I used to do, in the mares paddock, I began to walk quickly to the back of the paddock outside the fence, then called to him to come along and run the fence.

Usually Beau does not run iwth me.

Today was the beginningn he ran down (just like Duke used to)
I was beaming.

I ran to the end, then called him down, called out to stop, and he stopped everying time.

He was amazing

When I got there Patti was brushing out Dusty and helping Scotti get him a new halter because the other one was rotting on his nose and making it raw and looked almost bloody.

Cats there are new cats they are adorable, 4 and they are really cute, black one, black with tux, dark tiger and a grayer tiger. 

Saturday weathre and activities

• it was raining like pouring all night and all morning during the Green up day, we killed it at the clean up and then home to get over to the barn.
• Because of the rain the horses are in when I walked in Beau was chiliin, I just imagine he wants to go in the arena but you know nont really.
  Last weekend sucked because the ATVs, those jerks make me kinda sick. I was out at Beaus paddock while the were muddinng.

Ruby was brought in by June she thought the mud and water so deep was not humane.

Lots of walking backwards 

His back end seemed sore

He was very good with brushing

It was sunny for a while in and out of clouds

Brought lots of snacks 🥕

Grapes 🍇 for goats 🐐❤️

I am not sure what’s goin on but after we went into arena Beau was headin into stall and the head line got caught on the hook for the rope guard and Beau went a little crazy

I wish he was a bit more settled not panicky

Cold Rainy but the horses were out

 Met up with Tina in the morning at the diner up in NH, and then  we voted. Not too much we have to do. 

Got there around 130 or later, Patti was riding Sienna, I have the loaner from Ford, the Escape,  she did not recognizeme. Believe it or not, the horses were out happ enough.

I gave out a tonof snacks, carrots and had some oatmeal cookies.

it had been raining andn I had no boots or coat hat. Really was feeling cold.

There were 2 cars there found out later it was Kelly Greenwood and her boyfriend she said she was cleanning up stuff. Not sure what she is up to but she is sort of a do nothing, raisingn the cats, complaining.

Patti walking around,  I went up to Beau's paddock, no the way giving everyone some snacks. Cisco was pretty aggressive about snacks and I did nont realized. I gave him  a snack then 

Easter visit all day in paddock

 I left around 1230 and was at the barn for hours but we worked out in the paddock. The whole time. Beautiful weather 60 degrees

Dr Katz Thursday visit

 Such terrible rain. Coming down hard the horses have been in more than I woukd like. I was able to get the 8 o’clock fist appt

I got caught behind a few really slow drivers which impacted me getting there early. Katz and Krystyn was there already I arrived like 3 min early. Enough time to grab him out of the stall and get him a quick stretch. 

I grabbed Beau and went into the arena. He’s been a bit off on his listening but with Katz thete he just listened to every queen. The only issue is Cisco wants to go over to him and bite each other. He had a great session. It’s 110 plus I tip 20.  I really appreciate the hands on and the discussions we have while I watch Jatz handle him makes me very happy. We talked about hiw I made more progress on picking up his feet better. Katz also knows how to get him to respond with patience.
