Just Bonnie, Krystyn and me today. Yesterday was super cold, today was much nicer. The horses were even able to get out into their paddocks for 1/2 day. I got to the barn and Krystyn and Bonnie were having a converstation. Bonnie was getting ready to drive up the hill to put the hay in each paddock.
I was able to bring Beau out to his paddock, we had to walk very carefully on the very edge of he path up the hill. When I placed the halter on BEau with the chain on his face, I think he was disappointed. I did not want to fall while walking out to the paddocks with him. As I walked across the arena with him, I talked and let him know how happy I was to be with him but I also made sure that he knew when we got out tothe icy snow, he woudl need to heed to my lead. I gave his lead line a tug. He looked at me very disapointedly. He thought that I didnt trust him, well I did not really trust him.
so I let up on the tightness of the halter and he was happy. He slipped a little bit as we made it up the crest of the hill and again a mis step near the paddock gate. We both went into the paddock and I gave him a snack and hug.
Took a couple of pics of Him and also of Dusty. Krystyn was walking up the path with the two horses that go into the corner.
