Warmer today Beau might need a visit from Dave

Its been a while since we started Biotin for Beaus hoof and thrush. I took a pic today out in the paddock, he felt a bit conserved,  I read a few articles it looks like his new hoof is coming in nicely. As I snapped apic on my phone, he seemed ok it wsnt until I got home and looked closely that I saw there is a crack and a chip.  Im hoping that Dave is coming over some time soon to give him. a trim.

I think that the ice is bothering his feet. We worked out about 40 steps backwards. I rubbed him down. IT was cold out getting to higher 20s but the wind made it seem so much colder. Its warmer than last week so he has his blanket off.

Gave him a hug after he was happily doing his backsteps.  He did some side touches. After reading his last updazte from Dr Katz, I will start doing alot more side touches in place of the back steps.
Also I want to let Dr Katz see how strong Beau is with his giant back kick.
Dusty Beau and Mac.  While I work with Beau each time, Mac does tricks to get attention whil eDusty just waits for me to go over to him because he is used to having me stop by and give him a treat after working with Beau.  Mac does things like paces back and forth goes to the edge of the paddock and sticks his head into Beau's paddock and even kicks his front hoofs to get attention. He is very young I think3 or 4 and he is one of the 3 Amy has at the barn. The others are Chewy with the sway back and the new over 16 hands, Callie young with a white blaze and large frame. Hes has a ginger or reddish color. Not as red as Millie was but still red.

Dusty waiting for some attention and a treat from me
Mac sticking his head over trying to get attention too while I work with Beau

Beau's left hoof seems to have a crack and a chip. I did not notice it yesterday or last week.
