Went over late today.
Its so nicewithout all of the personalaties. Its just Dakota, Peanut, Chewy, Dusty, Tess, Serenity, Muck and Beau.
I am always able to relax, use the barn, walk around, do my supplements, spoil the other horses and feed the kitties.
Beau is just fine with the horses being less.
- I tacked up Beau
- Brushed him out
- Did his supplements on the ground in front of his paddock, he liked it and was able to get snacks and some love.
- Checked his water and it was much better than last week when I had to fill a few of tthe buckets because they were empty.
- His paddock has alot of poop, I wanted to cldean it up but I was too busy
- I am workig with Beau to get him to lift his hoof, hold it and NOT to slam it on the cement after I have picked or just looked at it.
- I am hoping he becomes gentler.
On Thursday's before Val's lesson at Flying Change, Val and I go over to the barn and just hang out with Beau, she sees how hes been doing, I will start doing some stuff iwth him in the arena and letting her watch.
We have been working on the tack that Flying Change gave me, the saddle. Luckily Beau can use Duke's old english tack, pad, girth and the leathers from the stubben that I bought but it fell apart at the seems that put it together.
She is very interested in him.
We wen to the gate and while I was getting him out and explaining that a chain is not a bad thing its good to sue on a horse when you need extra protection that he doens pull on me and maybe dump me on th eice.
He made me proiud when he lifted his hoof when I tapped him.
